While the Region is on heightened alert status of Covid-19, the Provincial Mining Regulatory Board – Catanduanes conducted virtual meeting last May 11, 2020.

The purpose of the virtual meeting is to deliberate the following commercial sand and gravel permit applications of Mr. Arnulfo Q. Abiar located in Tubaon, Virac; Mr. Joseph A. Avila located in Valencia, Virac; Ms. Gemma Gianan located in Buyo, Virac; and Ms. Maria Cecilla B. Soriano located in Bagawan, Pandan, Catanduanes.

Among the four (4) applicantions that were deliberated only three (3) of them received recommendation for approval while the other was deferred to further resolve technical issue.

The virtual meeting has become an integral part of the “new normal” as an indispensable approach to keep the work stays on track.
