The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. V (MGB R.O.-No. V) has joined the Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) campaign of DENR-V for the month of September 2019 to three (3) Elementary School in Albay, namely: Forbes Academy, Divine College Legazpi and St. Raphael Academy last September 10, 12 and 18, respectively.

The topics that were discussed by the MGB R.O.-V representatives were about importance of minerals and responsible mining and geohazard awareness.

This activity aims to intensify campaign on environmental awareness and capacitate the youth and other stakeholders on the mandate of the Agency through Information, Education and Communication program of MGB R.O. No.V.
