Further, this Office Disseminated 1:50,000 and 1:10,000 scale flood and landslide susceptibility maps during the intensive IEC for barangays in 2016 and 2017.

The action of the Office relates to its mandate in assisting the LGUs of the country in the formulation of the disaster risk management plans.

Furthermore, the Office has conducted rapid assessments on December 4 in Sorsogon, Albay Provinces and in several municipalities in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte; and December 5 and 6 in Catanduanes and Masbate Provinces. These rapid assessments are one of the mandates of MGB R.O.-V as part of the national geohazard mapping program to assess the extent of flooding and landslide after the typhoon.
